Answer comments and messages from one inbox

The inbox holds the comments on posts sent from Clockpost, and the messages people send you on Instagram and Facebook. Each person shows with their own picture and the mark of the platform they wrote on.

Comments and Messages

The inbox has two tabs, Comments and Messages, each saying how many people wait under it. Sort either by To answer, Needs you (a question only you can answer), Drafted (Ticky has an answer ready) or Done. Press one of your accounts’ pictures to see only that account; search looks through everyone, answered or not.

Reply

A comment shows the way the platform shows it: the post at the top, then each comment with what that platform lets you do there, such as Reply, Hide or Like. On Instagram and Facebook, Message privately sends the person one private message about their comment, within 7 days of it. Press Enter to send (Shift Enter for a new line), and type / to pick one of your saved replies. A reply waits 5 seconds before it goes, so Undo takes it back. Your words are kept if you move on before sending.

Messages

Messages read like a chat. Photos people send are shown, and you see when they have read your reply, reacted to it or changed a message. The person sees you typing while you write, and sees that you read their message only once you reply. A message can be answered for 24 hours after the person’s last one, and by you, by hand, for up to 7 days: the line above the box says until when.

Ticky’s drafts

When Ticky knows the answer from what you confirmed, its draft is pencilled in where your reply would go, with where its words came from. Send sends it, Edit puts it in the box, and Shorter, Warmer and More formal ask Ticky to write it again. Go through drafts shows them one at a time, beside a phone that shows each reply as the person will see it. When Ticky doesn’t know, it asks you once, and your answer goes to everyone who asked the same thing.

What Ticky reads

While Ticky’s answers are on, it reads new comments and messages to draft replies, and that text goes to our AI provider. Turn off Drafts every reply on Ticky’s page and it reads neither.
